Our history

Dog Chef started in January 2017, the day Alexis adopted Rox, a little Australian Shepherd. He quickly did some research on the various healthy diets that existed for his new companion and discovered household rations.
After talking to those around him, Alexis quickly realized that he was not the only one to choose to cook for his loulou and that nothing existed on the market for people wishing to feed their dogs on household rations. . So he talked about it with his friend Alex. Together they decided to embark on the preparation of fresh, homemade and tailor-made meals for dogs.
After a few months of cooking for their families and friends and testing their recipes, they created a website. The first customers arrive and Dog Chef officially launches.
The first dishes are cooked by butchers, but little by little, the growing interest in their project pushes them to think bigger. In September 2018, Dog Chef therefore moved into his own 1,500m2 workshop located in Huldenberg. Since then, their small start-up delivers not only to Belgium but also to the Netherlands, Luxembourg and France.

Today, the Dog Chef team consists of around 20 people who work every day to ensure the preparation, delivery and order follow-up of your small Dog Chef meals. Whatever their department, they have only one goal: to delight your four-legged friends!
